Lincoln's Platform "12-Hour" Quilt Blocks
Oh, I just couldn't resist any longer even though I have way too many projects started. I love the ones you all have going. I'm working from my Jo Morton stash. It would be embarrassing to tell you how long it took me to do these three blocks. Oh well, so I'm a slow sewer. I like the results :-).
Does anybody know what the large-scale fabric is in the second quilt down on this page (the basket one)?

Your blocks look great -- all the color choices are right up my alley.
Oh your blocks look Gorgeous! I love how you co-ordinated the colors! This is going to be one beautiful quilt!
I love the way you're using a different color around each block. It's amazing how different each quilt looks from the same pattern.
I love how many colors you're using!
Your blocks look just great! I love those fabrics, they look wonderful!
*hugs*

Looking good!
And you're making me think I need to go start one too... even though I keep telling myself I already have too many unfinished.
Nice color choices. I can't wait to see your finished quilt.
Looking good, Karen.
Am I looking in the wrong spot on your link for Laundry Basket Quilts---all I see there is the poppies and a black and white sketch for a BOM I assume for a bunch of blocks that are probably in the public domain.
Perhaps it was in one of the gallery pages??
Your blocks are looking good, great fabric choices. Isn't this fun? Do you know, are any of the Marietta shops having labor day sales????? bad me, bad me!
Hi Karen, I think your blocks look wonderful..*VBS* And it stands to reason that they would take longer because they are not all the same fabric. That always takes long, as does working from scraps..*VBS* The main thing is do YOU like it? And if you do, then who cares how long it takes...Hugs, Finn
Neat blocks, I like the way your blocks have differently colored pieced "borders." I can't wait to see the whole quilt!
Karen, you a slow sewer - I think not. Your quilt is going to look great - love the different colored pieced sashing pieces. It's going to be really pretty. Love all the fabrics you have laid out to use. Hurry, hurry - can't wait to see it. LOL
I love the fabrics you're using. I'm still holding out because I have said I'm not starting any new projects in August but I also want to play along - I'll just be behind everyone else.
