looking about

While googling about for something else, noticed these outstanding Guardians of the Temple.

My "Quilt Ideas" folder still had long random numbers attached to some of the photos from when I managed to pull them off the reformatted hard drive last summer. This one

is identified as being from the 2006 Cobb County quilt show, but does anybody recognize the pattern? Lori Smith? Wouldn't it be scrumptious to pull out fabrics for this color scheme from one's stash? I know it's there.

This looks like the blooms are One Block Wonder style; does anybody recognize the pattern?

hi karen

the two flower style quilts look like a stack and whack variation, a la bethany reynolds(sp?)

I have a pile of fans to put on a background, they look very similar.

Boy oh boy, does that first one ever look familiar. Will look through some patterns when I make it upstairs later today and see if I can find it. It is yummy!

Looks kind of like what Bethany Reynold in her second book.

Just had to say I love the Cat quilt you linked to. :-)

I'm no help on the others I'm afraid, but they are very pretty.

The one on top looks like something from Jan Patek. Could be in an out of print book. Can't help with the second one.

I have that picture saved also. I believe the blocks came from various designers.

The top one makes me think of Jan Patek or Blackbird Designs. Not the colors but the design. Beautiful quilt.

The top quilt looks like something from Piece O' Cake. I love the funky combination of colours.

I thought the first quilt looked like something from Piece O' Cake, too. Let us know when you discover the answer. All of the quilts are great.
