Two Complete-os

I made and finished two projects this week-end! Renée Plains' Utility Apron pattern:

and Sassafras Hill Primitive's Early Sewing Bird:

Sewing Bird will have more expression when he gets his accessories: tiny jingle bell eyes, skeleton key in wing pocket, and some pins in his tuffet.

So adorable!!! I love the fabric you used on the apron and I'm sure the bird will have a bit more life after embellishing. Nice finishes!

Congratulations on your finished (or nearly so) projects. Are these to be gifts or are they destined to warm your own heart?

I sure do like that apron. It seems to be just the right size for quilting. Love the colors. Cute little bird. I would never would have thought of that one. Great job.

Cute, cute, cute! We use the Utility Apron pattern for our shop aprons, made in black/white fabbies - love the many pockets!

I am such a Liberty Star fan. I recognized the apron as soon as I saw it. It looks amazing and your birdis really awesome. I think the embellishments will just be icing on he cake. It looks perfectly prim without them. B=)
