Off I Went...

...to the North Georgia mountains to see how the little Fit can handle hilly roads:
Why are both doors open? Because there's no room for my camera in front ha just kidding.

It handled the roads pretty well, 43mpg:

Scenery:

But then it was time to hit the road for home (still had the 4th quilt to finish for the Show):

past some nice old buildings south of Helen GA:

Don't forget to see the East Cobb Quilt Guild Show:

Looks like a great trip. I'm still laughing over the photo of 43 mph.

I love the Fit! That's a really cool car -- very functional for such a little thing. And 43 mpg is the cherry on top!

I've seen a few pictures from a previous East Cobb quilt show, and it looks like there's a lot of talent going on there. I'd love to be able to attend this one!

Oh - I love those mountains. You've been to Anna Ruby Falls, haven't you? It is so pretty up there.

The car looks like it would be so much fun to drive.

What a happy drive! Great scenery and good gas mileage, you can't ask for more than that!!! So looking forward to the ECQ show. Better stock up on some batteries :)

Karen,

I am no longer the "lurker". Remember me from Little Quilts on Saturday - orange and black fabrics for the Halloween 1904 quilt.

I love your Honda Fit - 43 mpg!!

Your new Honda will last you longer than "ole blue".

I can hardly wait for the East Cobb show. It is always GREAT!

See you next time, Pat Robinson
