Mary Ellen, LQS owner, bought authentic indigo fabrics at the Paducah show this year for her Jo Morton ladies to use in this quilt. You've probably seen these fabrics. I had read about them online but these were the first I had seen. I used the reverse side of one of my two pieces because the business logo on it was attractive. It's the kitties in the center block and the lettering in the upper right block. The other indigo is the lower left-hand block.

How wonderful are the lettering and the kitties!!! I just love that idea--really makes it seem antique. And the indigo is fabulous.

Thanks for reminding me about those kitties - I have one of those 1/4 yeard pieces, that I got just for the kittie, just for my cat charm quilt... I guess I need to figure out how to wash 1...

Oh what a wonderful little quilt - I have seen the indigo fabrics at quilts shows, but never purchased any . . . hmmm maybe I'll need to add some to my stash at the next opportunity *s*
