I've never seen the tomatoes in so many colors. The chairs are adorable.

I like the rocking chair with spool holders the best.

I have the wooden rocker too. Bought it at an estate sale many years ago. Thought about recovering the cushion, but think it would loose the nastalgia.

I also have the tomatoe pincushion I used in home-ec class...hundreds of years ago!

Thanks for showing us your pincushions! I seem to remember my grandmother having a green rocker like that--it brings back fond memories. I also love your different coloured tomatoes--green and pink! How cool!

I should not have looked, I should not have looked, I should not have looked - LOL... that rocker one with thread holder is just too darling!

And - I think everyone, at one point in time or another, has had a tomatoe pin-cushion - aren't they a true classic?

Cheers!

Hi Karen, love the pincushions!! My mom used to have one of the rocking chair ones. Wish I would have thought to grab it after she passed away.
I do love your little bunny in his arm chair..that is soooo cute!!
I think I've seen a little chair like that to make from cardboard and fabric..the seat covers up a tiny sewing box.
Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Finn

Ohhh, I wouldn't dare stick pins in the bunny! You might never get another Easter basket!

Love your pincushions. I'm going to look for one of those rocking chairs tomorrow at Round Top. I forgot to tell you...I had a little sewing table shipped from NJ. It belonged to my mother. Unfortunately, the one swing out drawer came lose, but I'm hoping my husband can fix it. It has a regular drawer and then the swing out one that holds spools of thread on wooden dowels. Maybe you've seen one of these? I'm thrilled with it. I just have to squeeze it in here somewhere. :) Betty
