Quilt Show Pix
First, two more DJs...and the original Dear Jane book just revealed itself to me on my bookshelf, where I thought it was but apparently it has been taking a cosmic journey and just returned because it was not there before. Now I have little Dear Jane twin books :-).

East Cobb Show #1
East Cobb Quilt Show
Attended the Preview Party last night for the show; oh, the (363) quilts look wonderful and it is a very interesting and inspirational show to walk through. What a glorious art it is that we practice. You can hardly believe the Best of Show was made by human hands. I have some photos but I will wait a bit to post. Well, just let me show you one of mine again: it is my quilt from Jo's Little Women class created from blocks we swapped with one another and is stuffed full of gorgeous Jo fabrics. It has a pretty 2nd place ribbon on it now!

Amazing, A Stickle Block. And Earrings.
Ah, managed to get another Stickle block done. Had to order a replacement book, and that is on the way. Now I'm only two squares and two triangles behind:

I have been short on earrings since the Terrible Time when Rembrandt was getting into my earring tray and scattering the earrings to the winds:

but thankfully the local Yellow Daisy Festival began yesterday and I was able to get some replacements:

The bottom left ones are early celluloid buttons. The other two are so pretty, kind of hard to see since the scan is blurry. The ones on the right are pumpkins, perfect for the season.

Last Month
These pretty quilts were shown last month at Second Saturday Sampler:

These photos are from a scrappy class taught at Little Quilts last month. This first pic are four antique blocks of mine with a setting idea:

Meanwhile, at home, I am trying to pull my quilting activity together after the double whammy of returning to Day Job and getting All Ready for the show...my Dear Jane book (oh horrors) has disappeared. I am half a dozen DJ blocks behind...the To Do List is too long and overwhelming to describe...then I suddenly made this quilt top, using a little stack of luscious hand-dyed fabrics from Dye Candy on Etsy, so I'm going to characterize that as being on the road to recovery:
