It's GORGEOUS! Don't you just love Jan Patek? That quilt under that book is just lovely...and the small quilt is exquisite!
I had not heard about the woman who was found, but what a great story. I love that they left her with a book *s*
The quilts are marvelous -- I wish I had time to make everything *s*
That little flower vase piece is so nice.
The quilt under the book is wonderful. That's not Country Paths is it? Wish I had endless time to sew :)
Oooooooooooo...I love those colors!!
That border really sets it off nicely!

Oh isn't that Simply charming one fun! I keep looking at that pattern pack but have yet to attempt that particular one! And I love the Country Paths book....
OH Karen I have been catching up on your posts and thanks so much for all the wonderful pictures of big stitch quilting. It's making me feel better about being able to hand quilt my big applique quilt.
I love that Country Paths quilt, but is it sitting on the same quilt? Doesn't quite look the same. Have you shown the quilt under the book? I'd love to have a full view of it! Just wonderful work!!
Did you do the Jan Patek applique? It is fabulous! I am just getting into this kind of stuff and I love it! Neat story about the rescue. Wow, amazing they found her!
