Co-Worker's Cousins Do Good

Remember the woman, Carolyn Dorn, who was found alive five weeks after she disappeared in the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico? How neat is this, a co-worker friend of mine told me today that two of his cousins, two young brothers, are the ones who found her:

Arrrrrrrrr, how gorgeous is this primitive applique...?

Forget if I've posted this before. This is a small piece and the applique is just exquisite. Made by a very talented LQS employee:

I had not heard about the woman who was found, but what a great story. I love that they left her with a book *s*
The quilts are marvelous -- I wish I had time to make everything *s*

The quilt under the book is wonderful. That's not Country Paths is it? Wish I had endless time to sew :)

OH Karen I have been catching up on your posts and thanks so much for all the wonderful pictures of big stitch quilting. It's making me feel better about being able to hand quilt my big applique quilt.

I love that Country Paths quilt, but is it sitting on the same quilt? Doesn't quite look the same. Have you shown the quilt under the book? I'd love to have a full view of it! Just wonderful work!!
