Folk Art Applique Together

Got it together! And not only that, it's minutes away from the third episode of DesignStar on HGTV, what could be better?

Re Comments: No actual sale at the LQS, Gail, sorry :-)! But I went to Little Quilts, Marietta. Gail, you do not have an email established for people to answer you, do you know that? You have the "no reply" email. jpquilter, the points idea sounds like fun. Lindaj, you have a cute kitty helper, too. Thank you, May, my black cat is a great cat, fur like a bear pelt and he is a true character, of course, aren't they all. Nancy M, thank you re the Robyn Pandolph lead for the fabric, I tried to email you directly but got a mailer daemon thingie back...oops, sorry, DesignStar is starting, gotta go watch.

Your quilt turned out awesome! I have never done a quilt with a dark background. I'm so predictable! Nice work. Do you show in that quilt show in Marietta? I went with my daughter a few years back. She lives in Atlanta. Also, those floors you painted! Wow! You really are talented!

Your quilt is wonderful. I love the dark background! The bright colors are such a distinctive change from some of the folk art-primitive we see. I like that but I love the bright colors also. I have this pattern - someday I hope to do it.

Love your quilt. Using black as a background makes the colours so bright.

What an accomplishment. Your quilt looks lovely. I will have to attempt one of Lori Smith's patterns sometime. I always like what I see.

I'm over here on the AL side of the line and missed going on the shop hop with a few of my friends when I had the chance. I've not been to Little Quilts but have been to Tiny Stitches with Cher when she was in the area visiting her sis. Can you believe that I had to pass on an impromptu run over to the shop not long ago---on a deadline on a quilt. Color me sad!

Your quilt is stunning--I admire anyone who can applique like that. I bet it is all needleturned, too.

I was hunting through my stash looking for a fabric that I thought might be the border in your pattern and I found a Robin Pandolph called Morning Glory. I can send you a picture if you want. I only have 1/2 yard so I don't think it would help you much and I think I bought it over a year ago. Hope this helps. Your completed folk art applique is just beautiful!
