Hooray, it's done. I'm so glad my homework is done for Jo Class next Tuesday :-) . Who else from Little Quilts' Little Women Club has her block done?? Now to set it. I don't think I'll go the Broken Dishes route as the pattern indicates.
I used the 1/4" bias tape maker for the vines, which works beautifully, except they come out a bit too wide.

lovely
looks beautiful!
I love those bias stem makers!
Very pretty :) Love the background fabric !
It's beautiful! I just got my first package from Jo's Little Women Club and I'm way back at the beginnning...can't wait to get started on my first quilt!
Looks fantastic!
I just rec'd my applique block from our Jo club yesterday. I'm considering wool. I've already made all the hourglasses. One of the gals made her hourglasses all with the reds, reddish/browns and tans....it was gorgeous. Can't wait to see her applique middle with them. Looking forward to see what you come up with for around yours.
yikes....yours looks great....love the orange-ish colored flowers and the star.....and NO mine is not finished yet....still need to conquer those duck-foot-looking flowers in the center.....holymoly....for certain mine are going to be wool......and i did not tuck my leaves under the stems....so those will be on top.....
can't wait to see what you set yours with.....hugs..bb
It's very pretty. You're way ahead of schedule as club isn't until next week. Are you trying to set a good example for those of us who wait until the last minute? *s*
What lovely curves. How do you get them so nice and flat?
Woohoo...doesn't it feel to good to be ahead of the game. I love your block.
yet another wonderful creation. I enjoy your use of color, fabric to create a texture that is drool worthy.
Blondie
great whig rose , love it, love it!! I drool too when viewing your work!! You are an inspiration to us all! Hugs, Mary
I'm still giggling about the cat in the blouse photos in your earlier post! I'm with you on using the bias tape...when I make my own I end up burning the ends of my fingers with the iron. Just not worth it! If the stems look a bit chunky well - that's just a bit more folksy.
The block looks great. I think the vines are just fine at that size. Makes me think about doing some folk art blocks again.
I am not a club participant but love Jo's patterns. Very good job.
I love that bias tape maker! I used one making the aprons. Your blog turned out lovely. You know you MUST follow the directions on all quilt patterns or go to quilter's jail. I'm not surprised that you didn't know that.
Hi !
I come from France to visit you !
