Sunday Afternoon

Took just a few pictures at the Second Saturday Sampler Sunday afternoon Show and Tell last month where we showed tops or quilts made from the previous year's SSS blocks:

(the regular colorway)

(the applique series that was also offered)

(alternate colorway done in batiks)

(regular colorway done in the suggested setting for this year)

(the same, with colorful added border)

Interesting lot of tops. It's amazing how the setting canchange the look of blocks, and I like the added bright border in the last top, really sets it off.

Thank you for sharing so many nice quilts. Amazing waht a colour change can do to a quilt. I like the last one a lot too. Take care.

I see Libby in the picture - she's such a trip and always makes things such fun! I don't miss much about Marietta but I do miss Little Quilts, Tiny Stitches, and the East Cobb Quilters Guild.

I probably should have mentioned I miss my boys who are still in the Atlanta area too. Aren't I a terrible Mom that they come after the quilty things I miss?
