Late March

Little wall hanging with its purple border and hand-quilted.

Somebody doesn't have any chores to do...

Off we went to the monthly Stash Sisters class last Tuesday evening,

Mary Ellen von Holt leading us folks who need to delve into our beloved stashes, or as Mary Ellen calls it, those fabrics we worship and won't cut up :-) ...

as she gives us an assortment of ideas for using up stash fabrics.

For instance, making these darling Easter eggs from embellished scraps...

...or this addictive stashbusting pattern that uses a special technique. I'd tell you about it now but my Stash Sisters notebook is at work.

Of course we had Show and Tell, including Mary Ellen's gorgeous applique Bulloch Hall Quilt Show entry from last year:

and isn't this one fresh and snappy:

Here's a UFO from a few years ago that is newly completed

This one has a lovely intricate mathematical look, doesn't it.

Somebody's been stashbusting. Just love these blocky quilts. They look so old-fashioned.

Sigh, my photos are dark but this is a very pretty quilt indeed.

Hey thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.

Your Stash Sisters group looks awesome. I'd love to find a group like that here in Kentucky. I lead a quilt group here, but, it's mostly a sit n sew-which is wonderful, but, I'd like a little more production going on with an instructors and classes. I guess that's what quilt shops are for...smile

Those easter eggs are so cute. And you don't have to use THAT much fabric either. Your little quilt has so beautiful fabrics. Love it. And it looks like you are having a great time with your Stash sister group.

I love the little quilt, the colours are beautiful and I adore applique with pieced blocks. Could that cat get any more relaxed without falling off altogether?

I love all the eye candy in today's entry. But the Easter eggs are absolutely adorable!

DH loved the pic of the cat and that means a lot since he is not a cat person.

Oh forgot to say - I LOVE that fabric used in the HSTs on the top and bottom of your little quilt! You don't happen to remember if that is a new fabric or what line it is do you?
