Blossoming and Tenacity and Creating

Budding and blooming all over the yard...

including my heirloom variety apple trees...

and the coral bell azaleas...

Just have not had the heart to take out this ancient dogwood tree, it's been my faithful friend these past ten years in the house...

Just look at how it managed to bloom beautifully again this year...

Later today I'm off to Sit and Sew from 10-3 at Little Quilts. Packed a little stack of projects: next week's BOM blocks, two little wall hangings that need handquilting, two more sets of fabric choices for possible Lori Smith's Remembering Our Past reduxes, and star blocks for a quilt from Blackbird Designs' Sweet Summer book that I've been gradually accumulating via the leaders and enders method. Hopefully, photos to follow...

Comments note: Thank you all so much for your comments, they are so treasured. I would have liked to reply to the no-reply folks; you may want to check to see if you come up on Blogger as a no-reply and change the settings if you like.

I so enjoy seeing the beautiful color of the blooming plants. Here in Colorado the grass is just now turning green and the forsythias are barely peeking yellow. I like your quilt list in the side bar. It looks like the one I have kept (in Excel).

Beautiful blooms!

I love to pop in and read about the things you do at Little Quilts - someday I'd love to visit that store. Sigh! :-)

BTW, when does your son start the next chapter in his life? The Academy!

I was surprised at how spring like it was in GA during my visit this past week. I also took some photo's of the flowers and trees.

It's beautiful to see spring slowly unfold into bloom across the globe. My daffodils are just poking through through the soil, but they are predicting a little bit of snow at the end of the week, sigh.
