We worked on this E11 block in the Dear Jane group Thursday night. This is an interesting one because it can be made in different sequences. I believe we in the group are making this one at least three different ways:
I'm still new enough to hand appliqué that I'm absolutely delighted when a hand appliqué project is actually presentable. This isn't one of the two that I need to make this week-end, however :-).

it is beautiful.
Oh my goodness-it is just wonderful! Great job!
Your block is perfect! That quilt is so amazing. I'm in awe of anyone who attempts to make it. I don't know if I will ever get to that point.
what a lovely block......I see lots but just don't remember this one.......
I love the fabric in this block and it's overall simplicity, (even if it didn't feel simple to do!) I'm enjoying your progress on this project, and Keryn's, but haven't felt the slightest urge to join in. Sort of like I admire people who fly planes, climb mountains, sail singlehanded around the world, but I don't wanna do it myself.
What a great block . . . . I in a love fest with applique these days *s*
If you're new to applique, you're a fast learner! Very nice job on this block.
I think it would be great fun doing the blocks with other people. Pity no-one I know wants to join me....
This turned out beautifully. I love the rust fabric. I don;t think I have tackled this block yet. I love to applique, but I am really enjoying foundation piecing so many of the DJ blocks. Only 100 more to go.
I don't know much about quilting but they do look nice. Thank you for your visit to my site and your nice comments. Please come visit anytime.
Looks great!
Oh boy, this one looks edible!
Beautiful design.....
