If I open the filing cabinet:
And sometimes comparative strangers are visiting for a few hours to sleep off Boot Camp:
This is the second of the Primitive Portraits, called Portrait in Silhouette No.1 (I could do a hundred of these, don't you just love old silhouettes?), also 16x20", again featuring Jo Morton fabrics, with an "applique" quilt on the wall and you notice the curtain is a bit 3-dimensional.

Yepper, those are definitely members of the Cat Club! My two would do the same darn things!!!
Another good design. I would like to see a series that could be put into one quilt.
Oh my that Rem is a mess!! Ha! Yes they do want just stare at times..I always look and say WHAT?? They just slowly blink and ignore me. Ha!!
LOVE this design!!!Can't wait to see them all!!!
You have some of the best ideas!!
Hope the 'stranger' is doing well in boot camp!
Aw. Aren't they angels when they're sleeping...no matter what the age? (Your Timmy, that is.)
LOVE your new silhouette! Yes. Silhouettes are truly timeless, aren't they!
I too love the new silhouette. But that Rembrandt, what a funny cat!
I know this sounds silly, but if you ever decide that Rembrandt needs a new hole, can I be first in line please.
Sorry - meant home LOL.
Silly cats! Love the new silhouette.
Isn't it funny how they squeeze into the oddest of places!
how funny that cat is!
nice new pattern...
hope you do one with a cat!
kathie
Aren't you glad Rembrandt is always jumping in to help you? Those other cats just sit around staring at you while YOU and Rembrandt do all the work.
What a cute little quilt! What cute little helpers you have too!
Oh that silly Rembrandt! What a busy little helper she is. I agree about the cats seeming like they are everywhere sometimes. I like to get a little revenge sometimes and wake them all up when they are sleeping (hee hee). I love the silhouette! Maybe one of your next ones will feature a silly little cat :)
I LOVR the primitive portraits! Do you have a whole series of them?
Cute cats! Love your Primitive Portrait!
Kitties will keep you on your toes *s* Love the new pattern.
Oh that Rembrandt is a riot! And I see what you mean about the staring. Shrinks do that to create an uncomfortable silence, so I've been told, so that you talk more. I bet you talk your head off to those cats! Just a crazy guess!
Love the portrait. Too bad I don't quilt or applique. However, that doesn't stop me from looking!
Whenever I open the dishwasher Zoom climbs to the back and sits down there by the heating element. Do you know how difficult it is to get a cat out of the dishwasher? You'll get no sympathy from me. :)
