I coveted them every time I read her blog. As I strolled through the secondhand shop yesterday, with such treasures as a pair of black Ralph Lauren jeans for $1.50 and two perfect tops already in my cart, what should my unbelieving eyes see but those same clogs, in perfect condition, and were they in my size? Yes, they were!
Are these Renee's cast-off clogs? What size does she wear?? Ah well, they are mine now, and talk about luck :-).
Absolutely fell in love with Ann Champion's cheddar doll quilt this morning and knew I must make one, too:
I was planning to slavishly copy it in every way, but now am wondering if I might put something else around it next instead of the round of flying geese. A third color? More stars? Not sure.

The doll quilt is fabulous. I, too, love the cheddar and the blue.
What luck with those shoes. Meant to be.
Love, love, love the clogs. What a lucky find! The doll quilt is beautiful.
Oh, now that was a stroke of luck. Go play the lotto you might be on a roll... BTW as soon as I saw the clogs I said, "I know that pic!" LOL! I too covet the clogs, hahaha!
Serendipity, that's what! Brill!
What are the chances of finding them in a resale shop on the day you went and then finding them in your size??? Good for you!
What a find! Are you going to wear them every day? They are just cuter than words *s*
You are such a lucky duck to find those wonderful shoes! I'm on the hunt for a pair of red shoes with low heels that I could actually walk in!
what fun! clogs that fit too?!!
Love your quilt. YOu're sure to make it amazing.
I love the clogs. What a fabulous find.
Karen,
Your blog is full of treasures. Love that you got all
those high end fashions from the second hand store.
And to think you got those coveted shoes is totally
unbelievable. It is totally enjoyable to see all your
DJ blocks. Your Repro Diva group has some really
prize exchange hearts, that's what I call a perfect
way to celebrate valentines. I like the Lemoyne stars
with the Jo's chintz. Can't says that I wanted the
chintz until that quilt appeared on your blog. Oh yes,
and the Ann Champion little quilt copy is sublime.
Your blog is the cat's meow.
OMG, I have these same clogs in green and I love them. In fact they are on my feet right now!! Congrats!
