Jo Morton Showed my Primitive Portraits at Market :-)

Jo Morton showed my three Primitive Portrait quilts at Market in Pittsburgh and I can tell you I am still walking on air about it (to tell the truth, I'm still in shock about it ha!)! Here is Jo's post about them; thank you Jo! and here are pictures of the Schoolhouse itself that Mary Ellen von Holt took when Jo was showing my primitive portraits:

I was wondering all through Market what this showing might have looked like, so was absolutely thrilled to get these pictures; thank you, Mary Ellen!

Here is my Berks County quilt hanging up back home in Little Quilts along with some kitted patterns:

Phew!  I am as delighted as you can imagine.

Now here are two brochures that MJ in Michigan sent to me; they are from her visit to the International Quilt Museum in Nebraska.  Aren't they beautiful?  Thank you MJ!

Spent today catching up on Stickles:

This is the last one and I can only say that it was hard.  And that Jane must not have gone out much.  It took hours.  That is one of Jo Morton's Harmonies in the center:
It had so many short seams that I made these five stars in the process simply as leaders and enders      :-) :
But now I am caught up, so take that, Jane Stickle!  Well, until Anina posts a new block tomorrow, that is.

And finally (long post, eh? lol), doesn't this book that is about to come out look like fun?

What an honour you've got, congratulations!
Love your dear Janes, your fabric is wonderful. I'm not caught up with the triangels, but almost on the center blocks. They're addictive.

I'm glad you enjoyed the brochures from the museum. It was my first visit to the museum and I hope it won't be my last.

How exciting that your portrait quilts got exposure at market! Good luck.

And my favorite of the DJ's posted today is the one you have the bird in the center of it.
