Circuit Rider's Quilt

**note: all pattern orders going out today; thank you for ordering :-) **

Began Circuit Rider's Quilt along with the Little Quilts BOM that began Saturday, with the same background as the BOM, but with different fabrics. Had every intention of reproducing the original fabrics as closely as possible, but instead picked up this great old plaid and will be using that for stems and leaves along with rust and other accents:

(The blue graph lines of the cardboard cutting board showed, so I filled the background, that's why it doesn't look much like fabric).

My very dear pal:

I am proud of my new camera; please enlarge Rembrandt's picture to see the close-up!

and a Stickle:

Your blocks are beautiful// though I am not a quilter, I like looking at the process of making quilts (may be, one day...)... and I also like Rembrant.

No one ever went wrong when adding plaid to a quilt - the block and Rembrandt look great. What kind of camera did you get?

Rembrandt has such a great face! My sister has a blog (www.toomanytails.blogspot.com) of her cats. Lots of wonderful pictures.

That is a really nice DJ block. I could see the whole quilt done in that fabric.

I love the colors of your Circuit Rider's Quilt. I signed up for the Little Quilts Saturday BOM via mail since I don't get to Marietta much and I missed doing their BOM. Rembrandt is posing so nicely for your new camera!

I love the plaid you're using for the stems and leaves in your BOM block. And, as always, your Stickle block looks amazing. You do such beautiful work! :)

Rembrant's photo came out great - such an active kitty! One of my stray cats cut his paw on the ice yesterday, poor thing - but he was snug in his insulated outdoor cat house and meowing like crazy this morning for food and seems to be walking ok so hopefully it is nothing serious - not like I can catch him to look anyway wild thing that he is. Love your blocks - you have a great sewing skill!
Cheers! Evelyn
