I've had a collection in my stash of these Pennsylvania fabrics but have rarely gotten into them, so this will be a major stashbuster.
Hope the background fabric holds out on this group. I'm scaling these sets down to 9" rather than 12".
Broke into the beige and green scraps/stash:
Stay tuned for the result.
I also have something to tell/show you about the Gatherings fabric that a *kind soul* sent me in response to my plea. Got that last Blockswapper block done thanks to this person but also am assembling a little quilt top with the rest of what she sent me. Stay tuned for this one as well :-).
Love that green and yellow. It sounds as if you are getting a bunch of stuff done. Looking forward to more pics.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great! I am "staying tuned" to see your finished quilts!
ReplyDeleteLove these two sets of blocks. I can't even decide which one is a favorite. The colors are fantastic in both.
ReplyDeleteI've spent some time this evening reading through your blog. I love antique quilts and making quilts from old patterns and reproduction fabrics. As I read along I began to realize we live in (or near) the same city! And I love Little Quilts. I've been thinking about joining their Jo Morton club but have resisted so far - however, seeing all the examples in your blog is tempting me again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful quilts!
Lovely blocks! Look forward to tuning in again!
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks, especially the beige background blocks. That will be a fabulous quilt. I will stay tuned to see where they go.

ReplyDeleteI had some of the Pennsylvania fabrics but never enough to make a quilt. I like what you are doing with them.
ReplyDeleteBoth sets of blocks are wonderful! Every little bit used helps eat away that stash. I love the Pennsylvania fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI really love the sparkiness of the top two stars. Those colors are fantastic!
